WCN & Cloudscape Brazil 2016 Call for Position Papers Open

In conjunction with the annual Conference of the Brazilian Computing Society (CSBC) taking place in Porto Alegre (Brazil) between 4th and 7th July, with the goal of creating a consolidated and continuous platform that promotes both European(EU) & Brazilian (BR) excellence in the areas of cloud computing, big data & Internet of Things (IoT), EUBrasilCloudFORUM organizes:

WCN Workshop on Cloud Networks, 6th July: brings together well-experienced researchers, engineers, and practitioners from academia, industry and government to discuss and advance the state-of-the-art research, advances and practice in the emerging area of cloud-based networks and applications.
Cloudscape Brazil 2016, 7th July: The 3rd edition has the ambition to shape cloud developments in both Brazil and Europe, by covering the latest cloud trends, shows real-life case studies and future co-funding opportunities.

 

CALL for Position Papers Open: 

The call for papers is currently open to all WCN and Cloudscape Brazil 2016 participants and stakeholders. This will give you excellent visibility both at the event and through the EUBrasilCloudFORUM website where your paper will also be published. Position papers will be the basis of a White Paper to be submitted to the EC and MCTI before the EU-Brazil Policy Dialogues in ICT in November. Please note that the deadline for submission is Friday 17 June 2016.

  3. Cloud & IoT - Challenges of integration of big data and IoT using cloud as an enabler

  5. Trustworthy cloud platforms and services
  6. Cross-domain orchestration and programmable networks in clouds
  7. Data flow and portability of data: remedies to vendor lock-in
  8. Building a culture of transparency for customer-friendly SLAs.
    1. How can CSPs make their SLAs more transparent. A CSP perspective
    2. What challenges do customers face when signing an SLA. A CSC perspective
