Cluj Innovation Days (CID) is an annual event organized by Cluj IT Cluster aiming at consolidating the IT sector and creating new innovation based bridges among businesses, academia and the public sector. CID 2017 is the 5th edition of the conference and is addressing the topic of Digital Economy, one of the most pressing issues of our modern society. Spreading over two days, the conference program will include presentations and workshops designed to explore current trends, new approaches and innovative solutions in Digital Economy.
More than 400 participants are expected to attend the event: representatives of the Romanian Government and of the European Commission, members from the Academia, but also businesses and business organizations from Romania and abroad interested in the topics we propose with this year’s edition of Cluj Innovation Days.
EUBra-BIGSEA is joining the Session on the "Smart Cities and communities" scheduled for the 31 March 2017 stating at 14:00. Andy S. Alic from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) will be discussing the advancements on the EUBra-BIGSEA Massively Connected Societies user scenario. The applications developed for the user of the citizens and urban planners, bring together navigation algorithms already used in transportation systems, novel data mining models to understand and predict origin-destination characteristics, and visualization, focusing on the need to create cities and transportation systems.
